Geography |
Tucked away in a Waterschap Groot-Haarlemmermeer yard in a little
village called Buitenkaag. Street address of the yard: Lisserdijk
5. Also visible from the Hoofdweg Oostzijde. This monster beacon
managed to keep us busy for almost two hours, since it is surrounded by lots
of waterways, freeways, and railways. We really had to fight our way there,
with only the GPS to help us, but when we finally found it, the beacon site
turned out to be quite easily reachable. |
Procedures |
Locator for EHAM ILS 06. Often planes get a 'direct Charlie
Hotel, cleared for the ILS 06' instruction after having been radar vectored
to some point South-West of CH. |
