![]() Picture taken May 24, 2001 The yard belongs to a Waterschap. This governmental organisation has nothing to do with air traffic or beacons, but it likely had a convenient lot available. Haarlemmermeer is the name of the polder that also contains Amsterdam Schiphol Airport itself.
![]() Picture taken May 24, 2001 From the other bank of the canal you also have a good view. Access to the bridge is closed from this side. You can see that the yard can be used for landing/launching boats, or to (un)load them.
